The Launch of Ride Safe 2007

Bukit Batok Driving Centre (BBDC) & Traffic Police (TP) jointly organized a road safety programme called "Ride Safe 2007" to promote road safety among motorcyclists nationwide.

The objective of this programme is to promote road safety among motorcyclists by encouraging them to practice defensive riding on the road.

More than 300 riders from 14 corporate companies, government agencies and motorcycle clubs from all over the island took part in the bikers' Ride Safe Convoy riding.
They were gathered in different locations island-wide and ride towrards BBDC.

The ceremony is opened by special entrance of the Guest-Of-Honour(GOH), Assistant Commissioner Ng Guat Ting (MS), Commander of Traffic Police Department, escorted by 10 kiddy bike riders aged 7-10 years old.

The participants were given free training and thereafter took part in the competition.
