Fixed Group Scheme

  1. How do I fix a group?
    You can fix a group by selecting your preferred group at Counter 3.

  2. When do I need to fix a group?
    It is advisable to fix a group before you book for the practical lessons or upon enrolment.

  3. Is there any difference between System Allocate and Fixed Group Scheme?
    System Allocate indicates you may be taught by different instructors throughout your entire driving course.

  4. What is Fixed Group Scheme?
    A scheme that allows you to be coached by your preferred group of instructors who will provide you with a more personalised training.

  5. Are there any charges if I go for the Fixed Group Scheme?
    A fixed group surcharge will be deducted from your account for every lesson booked.

  6. How much is the surcharge?
    The surcharge for each Practical lesson is $3.21, or $8.56.

  7. Will I always be getting instructors from my Fixed Group throughout my entire driving course?
    You may not always get your Fixed Group instructors due to unforeseen circumstances such as when he is on medical leave.

  8. What will happen to the surcharge if I am not taught by any of my Fixed Group instructor?
    The surcharge will be refunded to your account after the lesson if you are not assigned to your Fixed Group instructor.

  9. Do I need to book for my practical lessons in advance?
    It is advisable to schedule and book your practical lessons more than 3 days in advance to avoid getting instructors from other groups.

  10. How many lessons should I book in advance?
    In order to have consistent practices and to avoid disappointment in not getting your preferred slots, it is advisable to block book 25 – 30 lessons in advance.  All bookings will be on a first come first serve basis.

  11. Can I change my Fixed Group?
    Yes, subject to the terms and conditions such as, you will need to cancel all your existing bookings and rebook your practical lessons, re-assessed on your practical lessons attended under the new Fixed Group.  Admin charge will be imposed for such changes.
