Ride Safe 2009 was launched on 31st October 2009 at Bukit Batok Driving Centre (BBDC). This is the third year BBDC and Traffic Police are working together on the Ride Safe Programme.
Our Guest-of-Honour is Mr Teo Ser Luck, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports & Ministry of Transport.
The main objectives of 'BBDC Ride Safe 2009' are to:
- Promote road safety among motocyclists.
- Educate motorcyclists on good riding techniques and practice defensive riding on the road.
There were more than 300 participants who took part in convoy riding and thereafter a safe and skilled training and competition were held.
Participants benefited from riding tips shared by BBDC instructors. After the event, riders also be able to know their strengths and weaknesses.
